I'm Katherine on paper, Kaye growing up, stuck with spelling Kaich to strangers, and called by many other names by circumstance. I love animals, especially my Sharpei Bruce, eating and cooking, singing and performing, occasionally knitting, breathing in new places, CrossFit, Super Mario Brothers, and my small, filtered circle of family and friends 💛

Mabuhaykers Log: Ilocos Sur

It’s the last day of May! I’ve been home for just a handful of days since the RCS left for the US in April, then Masbate, Bicol right on time for my birthday on the 1st of May. I haven’t read all the topics, and I vaguely remember thinking I wanted each day to have an element of surprise. It’ll be a good exercise on writing the 1st idea that comes to mind and just rolling […]

Fight Fear with Fire – New Year Mindset

One of the authors I like posted this Tweet: Will you be joining me for #BAYMTGO on January 1st? More info on my IG stories and feed but here are the basics 🖤🌙 pic.twitter.com/mUuvHmpOPh — Leigh Bardugo (@LBardugo) December 29, 2018 She followed it up with another that said, “The small step matters more than the grand gesture.” That struck something in me, because it had always been what keeps me from initiating anything. I put way too much unnecessary pressure on myself to produce something great, and I end up not doing anything because I feel daunted by the […]
